About

Spending time as a kid building KP model MiG-21’s, VEB kits and anything else my dad would let me ruin (mostly Matchbox kits), I grew to like modelling and have always dabbled in it, I did take some time away from it slightly when I was serving in the Royal Air Force as life was just busy but when I left in 2008 and became a ‘civvie’ I soon got back into it, building anything and everything. As time has gone on, I’ve realised that I only really want to build what I love, and that’s stuff I’ve grown to have a huge passion for, anything made in Russia, surrounding countries and anything from China.

Enter ScaleSoviet. My new website as of 2016 dedicated to my scale models, which will mostly be Amodel, Modelsvit, Trumpeter & Zvezda kits.. all of which are a great source for the aircraft (& some armour) that I want to build. Other stuff will include my own Aviation photos and other related bits and pieces. I hope you like the website and that you visit again!
